DEPOSIT RETURN REQUIREMENTS
HOW TO COLLECT YOUR REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT
When you make a reservation with Horse Trailer For Rent we retain a small deposit until the trailer is returned. To receive your deposit back we require:

You must complete and submit the Trailer CHECK-In and CHECK-OUT Forms when picking up and returning the trailer.

Trailer must be returned by the time listed on your rental agreement. If the trailer is picked up late it does not shift the return time.

Trailer must be damage free and returned in the same condition it was picked up.

Trailer must be clean and ready for the next renter. This may include hosing out, cleaning the walls and tack room. If we need to address any cleaning we apply your deposit. There may also be additional charges if excess manure is left and needs to be disposed of.

All equipment with the trailer is returned is the same condition as it was picked up. This may include a hitch, sleeve, lock, chocks, or pins used to secure the dividers.
When we refund your deposit a credit posts to the same account the reservation was booked with. Refunds generally take 5-10 days to post, but can take up to 21 days depending on the card.

Missing a refundable deposit? On rare occasion if the bank has failed to post the credit please contact us!
We will contact the credit card processor on your behalf. They can re-ping your bank and provide you with a STAN (or ARN) number. This number will allow your bank to trace the funds so they can manually post to them to your account.
